April clicked another round of pictures of the astonishingly alluring hill view. She certainly wasn’t much of a photographer, but her photos had the air of happiness in them. She drops herself on the grass, and looks up at the sky which looked like it was reflecting her blank state of mind.
It had been three days since her Great Escape. She had left everyone to whom she meant little. Her so-called friends who stamped her mercilessly with their words, her parents who kept putting her down, her neighbours who judged her from top till bottom. Every day she had to go through a series of assumptions and stories about her. Apparently, she was a misfit, she was a disgrace to her society. She had no right to go on about with her life.

It has always excited me to do something that I was scared of, cause I am someone who always wanted to see how far can I go in this race called life.
When you let fear get the best of you, you are losing a part of yourself. Fear is like an imaginary fence built by your anxiety. You are the only one who can break that fence and rise and shine. All it takes is a little bit of courage and a little bit of enthusiasm. Never ever make the mistake of underestimating yourself. Forget the thought, ” What if I fall ? “, and always think, ” What if I fly ? ”
I remember when I was a little kid, I was a scared little muffin. I didn’t even speak with my parents ! I was always feared by the idea of even talking to someone, I always had a barrier built and avoided any interaction with humans. It was only when I was eleven years old, I thought I must do something to get out of my boring life, when I had joined an oratorical competition and surprising enough I had got the first place ! That was the time when I understood , that all this fear and self-consciousness I had built inside me was nothing, all I had to do was have belief in myself.
So, you need to believe yourself. You need to understand you are no less or no more than anyone else in this world. Once you start believing in yourself, everything will fall into place.
I believed in me, I believed in my strength. Trust me, that competition which I had participated has changed my life. People now know me for my oratorical skills. I can now never compare myself to my younger self. My entire aspect of life has changed, and it was all because I had let go of my fear…
The latest Mountain Dew ad, ( which in the first place inspired me to write this post ) shows us how letting go of your fear can make you reach heights !!! This ad is sure one of the most inspiring Advertisement in the recent times !!! ( Plus my favourite actor Arya is in it 😉 )
So friends, remember don’t let fear get the best of you, let go and see your true potential. It doesn’t matter if you fail, you will be satisfied by the fact that at least you tried. I am sure that once you become fearless , your life’s awesomeness will become limitless !
Everyone in this world judges me, that’s what the society is for. The best part is no one even knows me properly- my likes, dislikes, love, hate, pain, happiness- nothing, simply nothing do they know, yet continue to write their fantasy about me. They say I have equal rights in this fantasy world, but do I ? I am continuously told what to do, how to be, where to go. Even if I rise against this tide, I’m not worth it – at least for them. People think I need some support to walk on this rope called life , but I know that I have my own willpower , which you ignore to see, and guide me along this ugly ramp walk. I look at myself in the mirror and realize if I, myself have to look at me through this glass between me and myself reflection , I wonder how many glasses the society has put between me and them , to see what they chose to see. Always remember , that when I look down it is not because of fear, insecurities, or cowardliness, it is because I don’t want to look at you through these thousand glasses between us and fall inside the pit of “judging people” like you did and become someone I don’t want to be.

I am seriously in love with the video/song. Being a Chennai-ite I feel so proud to actually see someone who has achieved great heights in such young age do something for the city which has played a major role in his stardom!!
The video starts of with clippings of various beautiful places from the Chennai city accompanied by Anirudh’s amazing notes. Right from the starting the video/song makes the watchers stay and admire it!!
The lyrics penned by Vignesh Shivan is very relatable. It uses the common slag around Chennai ( referred to as Chennai Tamil )! The music by Anirudh goes along with lyrics so smoothly! Anirudh’s voice of course is the main strength of this song apart from all the amazing things happening in it!!
